The furnace is 35 years old and needs a circuit board that’s no longer made. The replacement board requires extra parts to make it compatible, with repairs estimated at over $500. On the plus side, the heat exchanger is still in good shape. On the downside, the draft motor and blower motor are also 35 years old. Aaac Service Heating and Air recommended replacing it, but since we’re not a high-pressure sales business, we provided a repair quote as well. The furnace was repaired, and hopefully it will serve them well for a long time, though the old parts aren’t covered in any way.  These pictures are not of same unit. It's all I had.  What does this link button do.

 This furnace in McDonough would only blow cold air. It seemed like it would try to run but never get to the flames. It tried 3 times then just blows cold air. The sensor was showing no flame so the furnace will purge and just blow air. The system is doing what it is designed to do when the flames do not come on. The ignitor was replaced, and it works great now. The furnace in McDonough wouldn't start even though the thermostat was on. Despite the power being checked and the breaker being set to on, there was no power reaching the unit. The issue turned out to be a faulty switch near the furnace. Aaac Service managed to repair this residential gas furnace and get it running again on a Saturday.
