Pilot light keeps going out.

Pilot won't stay on resolved A buildup of dirt in the intake valve restricts the oxygen your  furnace  needs to keep your pilot light going properly. To clean debris from the pilot light, use a wire brush, a paper clip or something similar to brush dirt and dust away from the pilot light mouth. Ok first if you have a standing pilot your  furnace  is over 25 years old. I can fix it. Second don't clean this I will do it and check out the furnace. $80 service calls in  Henry County . I can replace the furnace if needed. This one had to be scrapped the build up on the inside was terrible making it unsafe.

I fixed a 30 year old furnace yesterday

I had a 30 year old gas furnace repair job. I got it going for under $200. Now I can't always do it that cheap. I had a 29 year old furnace that needed a $400 board. I recommended that one be replaced. There is a price where it is not good to put that much into an old furnace. If a 20 year old furnace has a lot of rust and needs expensive parts you might get rid of it. If you furnace is 18 with a cracked echanger get rid of it. There are a lot of things to consider when deciding when to replace. I won't just try to sell you one if yours can be fixed at a reasonable price and is safe.  Residential gas furnace repair   We know you have many choices when it comes to your home’s heating and air conditioning systems.
