 The air conditioner had 22ov but the 24v from the thermostat wasn't there. The thermostat was indeed sending it. The volts were lost somewhere in between. Under the house I got to check the furnace. The wire was chewed by rats or mice. Replaced the wire and just like that we have power and the a/c is running and cooling again. You got poo on your furnace so you better call an exterminator. We use RS44. At $150 a pound its still cheaper than a system replacement or filling with R22 if you find it. We can find your leak repair it or replace it then fill with RS44. 

The company that changed out this a/c sent an unqualified installer. wires are exposedand the line set copper is bent up instead of removed. Actually it should be straightened to have more room between units. The access panel is facing the close by a/c making it near impossible to work on.  

 The air conditioner was buzzing trying to start. It tries every few  minutes with a buzz. Found bad wires and cap. Resolved the problem  the same day they called for service.
