This should have been changed a long time ago. Furnace over heated and is in lock out now.  

 This furnace would click from the thermostat then a hum. The hum lasted 45 seconds then stopped. This would happen 3 times and the furnace enters a lock out. You need to reset the furnace for the sequence to start again. Then find out what is not moving. The draft motor was not turning. It was stuck. Sometimes there is something stuck in it, sometimes it is rusted shut, sometimes its just broke.  The furnace would try to start and the ignitor would glow red. The gas valve never came on. The circuit board was ok and flashing a 3 light signal. the board says this is a pressure switch or limit. The switch works but it had no signal. The tube was clogged going into the draft motor. Resolved another one without having to replace parts. This was a tuff one for beginners but not me,.   #1 Change your filter today and change on a regular basis.  A dirty filter will over work your blower motor ($400 and up) if you are lucky the capacitor will blow not the motor ($20 +service call) the circuit board can be damaged ($350 and up) the limit switch can get too hot and need replacing ($100 and up).  A filter is under $10 do not buy any that cost more unless you have the thick media filter.
