We tested this coil after removing it. The coil was tested before removal by an electric sniffer. Once again the sniffer is right. The bubbles in the right corner is freon coming from the leak. This coil needed to be replaced or the freon would have leaked out. We use a soap test and sniffer test to find the leak. We won't test them in a tank and put them back. Get glue and pvc cutters they don't cost as much as a water leak coming threw the ceiling. Cut the pvc about a foot from the furnace it should be after any traps that are installed. Tee should face up add a short peace of pvc, usually there is a piece laying near the furnace or use the part you cut out for the tee. We are changing a few coils. We found the leaks yesterday and we are replacing the coils. The warehouse is here in Mcdonough so we pick them up first thing in the morning.
